Nuthatch Bird Painting

I didn’t want to paint anything abstract or emotional today. We lost two people connected to the local art scene this week and it would be too raw to go there. I'm so over the 'Rona! Sometimes a cheery bird is what we all need.

I have a friend (the talented artist Christine Connerley) that takes incredibly beautiful bird (and other) photos and she was kind enough to offer them for me as reference to paint. I only hope that I can do them justice!
