Working in parallel

I have been working on two paintings at the same time this week. One is a simple still life for this week's challenge, the other is a commission for a pet painting. I don't usually do pet portraits, as I think there are many other people who are much better than I. This was for a friend who has recently lost her fur baby though, so I didn't want to turn it down. I just hope that she will like the finished item, right now it's a work in progress.
