Winter Rose

I really struggled with the leaf and glass area in the center of this painting. I don't know why, but the rose practically painted itself and I am super happy with how the yellow and purple complimenting shadows were coming out.

The glass was a different story though. Oh boy, it was quite a battle, but at least I'm finished now. I'm not sure who won, but I will focus on the joy that the rose gave me to paint!
