Waterlilies of Giverny
#22-Leaves
As we are all cooped up like chickens, I looked through my camera roll for some leaf inspiration. I found summer photos from a visit to Monet’s garden in Giverny.
My piece obviously isn’t as good as the great master, but it was an awesome feeling to be able to paint the waterlily leaves and tree reflections that inspired his great works. I was aiming to get a sort of smoothed pastel look. I don't know if I got there, but I am learning a lot about this medium.
