46/52 Snapdragon study

I have been working on large flower paintings over the last couple of weeks. These are commission pieces and I don't have permission to share, but I can show some of the studies that I did it preparation. I plan on making a similar large painting for my March show, so I will definitely show the full process of painting that one.

I started the day feeling pretty rough, as I came down with Strep a couple of days ago. My focus wasn’t the best, but I managed to knock this little study out before heading back to bed for a nap. The day improved with a mysterious gift left on the doorstep. Thank you Robby Cline, a collector turned friend, for the care package of Harry and David cookies! Made my day, thank you xxx
