This is our weekend to decorate for the holidays. Woohoo! The boxes are down from the garage shelves and we are making a plan to deck our halls. I am not a fan of holiday shopping, so I buy things bit by bit, throughout the year and stash it away until December. It makes December a little easier for us, especially given that we have a tradition to travel to Disney before school starts back.

I’m also chairing the Sierra Watercolor Society’s holiday party, so I am definitely all fired up for the season. My family helped me set up and many of the artists will be around to help tomorrow. The party is in a lovely room at the Wilbur D. May Museum, surrounded by koi ponds and fountains. I am such a big kid when it comes to the holidays, I go totally overboard.
