Provence Sunflower

8/52 Provence Sunflower Ok, so this might not really be from Provence, but the colour tones and the state of my mind at the time, was definitely Provence, France. We can travel in our minds, wherever we wish for free!

This was my last painting for the show. It was perfect for the postcards, because it was nice and simple with loose brush strokes.

A lot of things are happening in the world today and although I had Provence, France in mind when I painted this earlier in the week, it's the people of the Ukraine that are on my mind today.

Artists around the world are showing support & solidarity to the people of Ukraine, by posting paintings of sunflowers today, which is their national flower. 🇺🇦🇬🇧🇺🇸
