Pomegranate

10/52 Pomegranate, Peppers and Cranberries.

I painted this from a composition set up by my mentor Sarah @sedwickstudio. I fell in love with painting her cranberries, as the brushstrokes are fun to twist and form a shape with it’s own tiny shadow. She uses a very distinctive viewpoint and style and I am honored that she is making time to walk me through her steps.
