So am I going to make 52 paintings this year? You betcha! I admit that I'm feeling rusty as I start off a fresh New Year’s Painting Challenge of one small painting a week, but I love the feeling at the end of the year...

I have my first in person exhibition in forever, coming up in March. I need to paint larger paintings for that, so the 52 will be serving as a warm up practice for the rest of the week. I can't manage a larger painting in one day, so I will have to plan the countdown to the exhibition carefully.

I have a clean space, clean brushes and I’m ready to make some art in 2022 💪🖌🎨👩🏻‍🎨
